You’ll never be left wondering where to stand or what to do with your hands. I’ll give you enough direction to feel confident without making your photos look overly posed.

Twenty minutes gives us enough time to create a varied gallery while keeping the experience manageable for young children, busy families and partners who may not love being in front of the camera.

A beautiful lakeside setting with trees, trails and open natural scenery. This location is a great option for families and couples in Sackville or anyone who loves the combination of fall colour and water.

October 18th | Sir Sandford Fleming Park (The Dingle) | Rain Date: October 24th

Known locally as the Dingle, this park offers colourful trees, walking paths and beautiful natural surroundings. It’s a classic Halifax setting with plenty of variety for relaxed family and couples photos.

With wooded trails, tall trees and beautiful seasonal colour, Shubie Park creates a cozy fall setting in the heart of Dartmouth. It’s perfect for walking photographs, playful family moments and relaxed couples portraits.

Complete the form below with your preferred time slot. Once I receive your request, I’ll confirm availability and send over your contract and invoice to officially reserve your session.

Please note that time slots are booked on a first-come, first-served basis until your retainer has been received.

How Booking Works

1. Choose your location and time

Select the date, park and available appointment time that work best for you. Appointments at each location are first-come, first-served.

2. Make it official

You’ll receive a contract and invoice by email. Your appointment is officially reserved once your contract is signed and the 50% non-refundable deposit has been paid.

3. Prepare without overthinking it

Before your session, I’ll send the important details you need, including where to meet and how to prepare. You can also reach out if you need help coordinating outfits.

4. Meet me at the park

We’ll begin with a few classic portraits before moving into lightly guided prompts and natural interactions. You don’t need any posing experience—I’ll guide you throughout the session.

5. Receive your finished gallery

Your 20 professionally edited images will be delivered in a private Pixieset gallery, with high-resolution files for printing and web-sized copies for sharing online.

What makes these sessions different?

My approach is candid first, with enough guidance to help everyone feel comfortable.

I call the traditional smiling-at-the-camera photographs the “grandma poses.” We’ll make sure we get those important images before adding walking, movement, laughter and prompts that encourage genuine connection.

You’ll receive photographs that feel polished without losing the personality and relationships that make them yours.
