These limited tree farm mini sessions are a chance to slow down during one of the busiest times of the year, have some fun together, and preserve photographs of the people who make Christmas feel like Christmas.
The Christmas tree farm creates a beautiful holiday backdrop, but the people you bring with you are what make these photographs meaningful.
For couples, it’s an excuse to bundle up, spend some time together and create photographs that feel warm, romantic and genuinely like you, with just enough Christmas magic in the background.
For families, it’s an opportunity to capture the excitement, personalities and connection that make this Christmas yours, without expecting your children to sit perfectly still or give me their best camera smile for the entire session.
I’ll guide you using relaxed prompts that create natural movement, genuine smiles and plenty of candid moments. You don’t need to know how to pose, and your children don’t need to be perfectly behaved. You only need to arrive ready to have some fun together and enjoy a little piece of the holiday season.

The little one who couldn’t stop moving last Christmas is a little taller. Traditions change, personalities grow, and somehow the years between those Christmas mornings begin to feel shorter and shorter.
These sessions give your family time to cuddle, laugh and have fun together while I photograph the personalities and connections that make your family yours. We’ll capture the traditional smiling photograph you’ll want for the Christmas card, but your children are also welcome to move, play and be themselves.

Make a Day of It in Wolfville
Located in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, LJKR Balsam Fir Christmas Tree Farm gives you the perfect excuse to get out of the city and make your photos part of a festive day together.
The farm will be actively selling Christmas trees during your visit, so you can finish your session and choose the tree you’ll bring home for Christmas. You can also browse their handmade wreaths and bring home a little something extra from the farm.
And your four-legged family members don’t have to miss out! Dogs are welcome at the farm but must remain on a leash at all times, making these sessions a great opportunity to include them in your family photographs too.
After you’ve finished at the farm, head into the town of Wolfville and keep the day going. Grab a warm drink, find somewhere cozy for lunch, browse the local shops or simply wander around and enjoy a little more of the holiday season together.
Instead of driving to Wolfville for a 20-minute appointment, make an experience out of it, photos, your Christmas tree, a trip into town and some uninterrupted time with the people you love.
